Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joe Herring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Castellano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Getafe Deportivo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guillermo Farré was slow to take the kick. During this time Valencia C.F.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Valencia C.F.'s corner Adam Harding fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jairo Castellano quite easily take care of the ball. Kayra Sağlık made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Laurgain Lama immediately put the ball in play. Jerry Lodge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curcio Carballeira in the 14th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Club Getafe Deportivo's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bean came free, but Jairo Castellano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Curcio Carballeira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jerry Lodge. Curcio Carballeira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 24 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Arias. Jairo Castellano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Bean in the 32nd minute of the match. Jairo Castellano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Bean, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Joe Herring might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Castellano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joe Herring ran back to his position shaking his head. Jairo Castellano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Herring in the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurgain Lama in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerry Lodge saved Valencia C.F. from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Laurgain Lama got a free kick in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Club Getafe Deportivo's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Herring came free, but Jairo Castellano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Curcio Carballeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Getafe Deportivo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Curcio Carballeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Curcio Carballeira made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Valencia C.F.'s zone, Curcio Carballeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerry Lodge came out of the goal and Curcio Carballeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute Curcio Carballeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Lodge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joe Herring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Curcio Carballeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Lodge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joe Herring got free with Jairo Castellano in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Carballeira in the 86th minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Jerry Lodge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Valencia C.F.'s Ricardo Arias got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st match minute, Valencia C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Arias to maneuver through the defense.
