Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joe Herring took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes, Valencia C.F.'s José Luis Gayà shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maurino Serena came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valencia C.F. reached it. Jerry Lodge came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez. But to his dismay, Belo Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Herring in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belo Alvarez in the 14th minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Jerry Lodge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th play minute Joe Herring came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maurino Serena. 1-1. Jerry Lodge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belo Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belo Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Lodge having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Herring in the 31st minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joe Herring might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurino Serena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joe Herring ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute, Joe Herring left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valencia C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 45th minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Jerry Lodge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Farré sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belo Alvarez to make the kick off. The throw-in from Apolinar Guijarro in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Valencia C.F.'s Oliver Bean. The supporters of A.D. Alcorcón booed when Valencia C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Luis Gayà didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Eusebio Quijana replaced Natxo Cacheres. A collision led to Valencia C.F. getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. José Luis Gayà hit a great ball. Jerry Lodge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurino Serena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valencia C.F.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guillermo Farré in the 65th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Joe Herring managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valencia C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Joe Herring was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, A.D. Alcorcón's Apolinar Guijarro got a free kick in the 70th minute. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Herring in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Apolinar Guijarro hit a great ball. The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when A.D. Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolinar Guijarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Joe Herring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Jerry Lodge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belo Alvarez. Esteban Vadillos hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Valencia C.F.'s Tuncay Candeğer was substituted for Alfred Claydon. After 84 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Vadillos. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Herring, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of A.D. Alcorcón's goalie and right to José Luis Gayà. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. A.D. Alcorcón's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in A.D. Alcorcón fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! A.D. Alcorcón:s Maurino Serena showed great skill when he stopped Joe Herring:s penalty. Joe Herring took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurino Serena. Maurino Serena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Valencia C.F. had won after a very even match.
