Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Apolo Richie started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Czeslaw Marosz came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Erasmo Millrick. But to his dismay, Erasmo Millrick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Czeslaw Marosz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Richie in the 6th minute of the match. Emiliano Orain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Calvino having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Powalina's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Richie came free, but Czeslaw Marosz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, one of NEWELL´S OLD BOYS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for NEWELL´S OLD BOYS. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS:s Ramon Calvino showed great skill when he stopped Cyprian Nienajadlo:s penalty. Ramon Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Cosme in the 17th minute of the match. Czeslaw Marosz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Mundo in the 25th minute of play. Czeslaw Marosz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Millrick in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Apolo Richie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Czeslaw Marosz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 34 minutes of play, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Baltasar Rios made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Czeslaw Marosz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Tadeusz Gierasik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Czeslaw Marosz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Millrick in the 40th minute of the match. Jairo Formerio took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Czeslaw Marosz. Czeslaw Marosz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 45 minutes into the match, Antonio Mundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Czeslaw Marosz. Powalina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Mundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The Powalina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS were winning 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Luís Cosme made a kick off. With a little luck, Powalina's Czeslaw Marosz got control of the ball when Erasmo Millrick tried to sneak it across the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Witalis Dziatkowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Powalina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NEWELL´S OLD BOYS the free kick. Witalis Dziatkowicz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Richie in the 60th minute of play forced Powalina's goalkeeper Czeslaw Marosz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Powalina defense, Erasmo Millrick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Czeslaw Marosz. The Powalina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Czeslaw Marosz should have stopped the shot. Czeslaw Marosz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Richie in the 66th minute of play. Czeslaw Marosz was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Apolo Richie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Apolo Richie really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. In the 76th minute Erasmo Millrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Czeslaw Marosz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Powalina's Czeslaw Marosz got control of the ball when Erasmo Millrick tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 84 played minutes Powalina got a freekick which was hit by Ergincan Öztürk. Apolo Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erasmo Millrick scored 0-11 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Czeslaw Marosz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to NEWELL´S OLD BOYS getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Baltasar Rios hit a great ball. Ramon Calvino came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Powalina's Sílvio Luís Cosme. But to his dismay, Sílvio Luís Cosme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-12. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS played a much better game than Powalina and deserved their victory. The Powalina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
