In the 20th minute Aristide Ciuvică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfi Kutlubay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lütfi Kutlubay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 26th minute of play. Jailson Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Pombal in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, México Eterno MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Terra came free, but Jailson Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing México Eterno MZC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
