Krakaca Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Chico Donato made a huge save. Chico Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Fernandes in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Martinescu in the 46th minute of play forced Futuros FC's goalkeeper João Carlos Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olivier Gilg in the 47th minute. When Niculae Martinescu came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niculae Martinescu couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Beto Smith cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Chico Donato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Krakaca Neto might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chico Donato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Krakaca Neto ran back to his position shaking his head. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krakaca Neto in the 91st minute of play. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Fernandes in the 94th minute of play. João Carlos Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Martinescu in the 98th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Futuros FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while DIPLOMATA FC PAB had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
