Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thibault Delanoë took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thibault Delanoë recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Simões hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. With a little luck, AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes got control of the ball when Mateus Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 played minutes AKI CORINTHIANS got a freekick which was hit by Anier Larra. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Thibault Delanoë managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's supporters rose to their feet, but Thibault Delanoë was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paredes Fortes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Brasil came free, but Lütfi Kutlubay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thibault Delanoë fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paredes Fortes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Castro in the 20th minute of play forced Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goalkeeper Lütfi Kutlubay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sal Darby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paredes Fortes having to interfere. With a little luck, AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes got control of the ball when Thibault Delanoë tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Anier Larra threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Ian de Azevedo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Anier Larra made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Ian de Azevedo. Ciro Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lütfi Kutlubay having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Castro in the 33rd minute of play forced Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goalkeeper Lütfi Kutlubay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Paredes Fortes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lütfi Kutlubay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ciro Brasil made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, AKI CORINTHIANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Brasil to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Anier Larra in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Ian de Azevedo. After 56 played minutes AKI CORINTHIANS got a freekick which was hit by Juan Custódio. The audience was convinced that Thibault Delanoë's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paredes Fortes was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Luciano Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Thibault Delanoë had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paredes Fortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibault Delanoë in the 63rd minute of play. Richard da Fonseca made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AKI CORINTHIANS's Anier Larra. Anier Larra kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Flavien Deregnaucourt was substituted for Ian de Azevedo. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's João Carlos Mesquita was substituted for Sal Darby. The supporters of Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa booed when AKI CORINTHIANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Larra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, João Carlos Mesquita notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes. Paredes Fortes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Carlos Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in AKI CORINTHIANS's zone, João Carlos Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paredes Fortes came out of the goal and João Carlos Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Carlos Mesquita in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paredes Fortes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciro Brasil hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. AKI CORINTHIANS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
