If Egon Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Florian Capasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Guilherme Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Capasso in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Florian Capasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Florian Capasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Trevisan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guilherme Zanette having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florian Capasso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Radomil Frodyma hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Trevisan came free, but Guilherme Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute André Luís Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guilherme Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Capasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Wambasther Sneijder was substituted for Cláudio Caniggia. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Merusca F&P - CIMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
