The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Donovan Landrum cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gonzalo Cuquejo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sammy Matos's late challenge caught a Guascas de Bosa CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sammy Matos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Guascas de Bosa CF booed when Sin City Sinners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sammy Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Guascas de Bosa CF's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Crane came free, but Gonzalo Cuquejo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urdaspal Corres during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Crane to make the kick off.
