Ilica's Devlet Temizkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimir Mutke in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Knallhütte Brauerei FSV booed when Ilica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nebi Çağkar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uwe Balkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asaf Tüzüner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
