Natã de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Peñaflor AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Gaúcho came free, but Guillermo Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Atilano Beat managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a left leg Alberto Pires saved Taguarussu SS from getting behind. In the 36th minute Diego Charro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Matías Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Peñaflor AFC booed when Taguarussu SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Matías Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes Taguarussu SS got a freekick which was hit by Matías Alcântara. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atilano Beat to strike the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Cresencio kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Simão Gaúcho notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Peñaflor AFC's Guillermo Olivar. Guillermo Olivar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alberto Pires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Rodrigo Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilano Beat in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alberto Pires, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Timoteo Unai came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Peñaflor AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Unai couldn't finish the play. If Timoteo Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Alberto Pires managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Peñaflor AFC's Atilano Beat fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alberto Pires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timoteo Unai in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matías Alcântara in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Olivar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rdth minute of the game Erik Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peñaflor AFC's Guillermo Olivar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atilano Beat had several of the Taguarussu SS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Alberto Pires as he didn't even see the shot coming. Célio de Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Alberto Pires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Raphael in the 92nd minute.
