PIRATAS TFP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Ayuntamiento CF the free kick. In the 86th minute of the match PIRATAS TFP got a corner. Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wiliam Pombal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thomás Souto made a great header on PIRATAS TFP's corner, it was just that Real Ayuntamiento CF's Fidel Monte managed to reach the ball for a save. Clemente Goyo's late challenge caught a PIRATAS TFP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Goyo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of PIRATAS TFP booed when Real Ayuntamiento CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position.
