A sloppy throw-in by Jim-André Natvig in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PIRATAS TFP's Didi Salles. 10 minutes into the game, Jorginho Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jan-Aage Eklund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The corner led to PIRATAS TFP's Jorginho Dantas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jorginho Dantas's late challenge caught a Flogo FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorginho Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. Jorginho Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Thomás Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes of play, PIRATAS TFP's Cafu Silveira made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Aage Eklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, Flogo FF's goalkeeper Jan-Aage Eklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cafu Silveira. Ørjan Moen scored 2-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dorival Linhares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dorival Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ørjan Moen in the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cafu Silveira in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Aage Eklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 38 minutes Flogo FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wiliam Pombal who took care of the corner kick. After 40 minutes, Kent Sakshaug mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flogo FF and the PIRATAS TFP players grew even worse after the yellow card. 47 minutes into the match, Flogo FF's goalkeeper Jan-Aage Eklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cafu Silveira. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Svend Havn made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Silveira in the 57th minute of play forced Flogo FF's goalkeeper Jan-Aage Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafu Silveira struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jan-Aage Eklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PIRATAS TFP. Jan-Aage Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes, Jim-André Natvig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flogo FF and the PIRATAS TFP players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PIRATAS TFP booed when Flogo FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim-André Natvig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Flogo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Silveira came free, but Jan-Aage Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Aage Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Dantas in the 70th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, PIRATAS TFP's Jorginho Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Aage Eklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cafu Silveira in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Aage Eklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Jorginho Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flogo FF's Jan-Aage Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Silveira in the 81st minute of play. Ørjan Moen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dorival Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes PIRATAS TFP got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Silveira. Jan-Aage Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Dantas in the 97th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PIRATAS TFP had played much better football throughout.
