A sloppy throw-in by Fábio Trevisan in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Mateus Salles. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Marcinho Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcinho Sabóia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lütfi Kutlubay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Lütfi Kutlubay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Capasso in the 25th minute of play. Florian Capassos short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Lütfi Kutlubay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 35 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Otsando came free, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Merusca F&P - CIMZ defense, Thibault Delanoë kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro-Facundo Buffon. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro-Facundo Buffon should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the game, Fumanchu Ponta threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Mateus Salles quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 53rd minute, Florian Capasso made a precise shot to the right of Lütfi Kutlubay. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Florian Capasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the game, one of Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lütfi Kutlubay had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Florian Capasso's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 65th minute, Florian Capasso made a precise shot to the right of Lütfi Kutlubay. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Hélder Fonseca replaced Florian Capasso.
