André Luís Zanette's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Guilherme Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Bolt in the 14th minute of play. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Fellipe Capixaba's late challenge caught a ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fellipe Capixaba helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Capixaba. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Luís Zanette in the 22nd minute. André Luís Zanette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a huge save. Mauro-Facundo Buffon was a little too slow when André Luís Zanette got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-0. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís Zanette in the 41st minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Bolt during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robert Serwacki ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Robert Serwacki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mauro-Facundo Buffon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Luís Zanette to make the kick off. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Renan Soares quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabian Meleșcanu, made in the 57th minute of the game. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Wambasther Sneijder was substituted for Cláudio Caniggia. Fabian Meleșcanu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, André Luís Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro-Facundo Buffon should have stopped the shot. After 78 minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert Serwacki who took care of the corner kick. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Robert Serwacki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 83rd minute, André Luís Zanette ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro-Facundo Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcinho Sabóia got free with Guilherme Zanette in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute André Luís Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
