Ivo de Castro hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Ingvar Strand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ingvar Strand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Osoitz was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Cássio Corinth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Tiso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Strand couldn't finish the play. In the 90thth minute of the game Ingvar Strand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's Cayetano Osoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldão Machado during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, one of ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ.
