After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Christophe Reibel got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The supporters of Ligeiro F.C booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Pardon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofyane Valognes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elói Barreto in the 8th minute. Ligeiro F.C were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Rathmore Lime Tree's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adelino Ramalho took the corner. Adelino Ramalho made a great header on Ligeiro F.C's corner, it was just that Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes managed to reach the ball for a save. Sofyane Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Tasso in the 12th minute of play. Flavian Garcon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeferson de Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavian Garcon went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sofyane Valognes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Christophe Reibel notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ligeiro F.C's Jeferson de Queirós. Jeferson de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Frank Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Ramalho came free, but Sofyane Valognes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rathmore Lime Tree's zone, Elói Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofyane Valognes came out of the goal and Elói Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 played minutes Ligeiro F.C got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Trancoso. 38 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's Hervé Annette broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Paul-Émile Brien got a free kick in the 44th minute. The supporters of Ligeiro F.C booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bilal Hédin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofyane Valognes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adelino Ramalho. The Ligeiro F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rathmore Lime Tree were winning 0-2.

After 56 minutes Ligeiro F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hervé Annette who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Rathmore Lime Tree's Hervé Annette to fire away a dangerous shot which Jeferson de Queirós despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Rathmore Lime Tree booed when Ligeiro F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Paul-Émile Brien fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rathmore Lime Tree's protests and gave Paul-Émile Brien a yellow card for diving instead. If Flavian Garcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Paul-Émile Brien. Frank Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Ramalho in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Ligeiro F.C got a freekick which was hit by Elói Barreto. Elói Barreto hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Flavian Garcon got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Costa came free, but Sofyane Valognes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Flavian Garcon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rathmore Lime Tree's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ligeiro F.C the free kick. In the 95th minute, Sandro Paulista made a precise shot to the right of Sofyane Valognes. Rathmore Lime Tree's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
