The audience was convinced that Flavian Garcon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Osoitz was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Sofyane Valognes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Tiso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Rathmore Lime Tree booed when ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Osoitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavian Garcon's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavian Garcon in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Osoitz saved ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ made a substitution. Mazinho Mendonça replaced Ivo de Castro. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavian Garcon was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's Segundo Tiso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sofyane Valognes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sofyane Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Tiso in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mazinho Mendonça. But to his dismay, Mazinho Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Flavian Garcon hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Segundo Tiso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's Cauã Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agostinho Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mazinho Mendonça got free with Sofyane Valognes in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Tiso in the 97th minute of play. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
