After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Lucian to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Válbson de Alcântara got free with Alessandro Linares in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Despite this Alessandro Linares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alessandro Linares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Válbson de Alcântara's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Alessandro Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válbson de Alcântara in the 69th minute. Válbson de Alcântara took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessandro Linares. Alessandro Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A sloppy throw-in by Roch Pliszka in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Motta Futebol Clube's Gilmar Garcia. After 83 played minutes Caldebrazza got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto Moreno. In the 84thth minute of the game Válbson de Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caldebrazza's Alessandro Linares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alessandro Linares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Válbson de Alcântara went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Motta Futebol Clube made a substitution. Lu Ladron replaced Artur Sabóia. Válbson de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xie Ao was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Motta Futebol Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
