An unexpectedly hard shot by Fagondo Vasquez in the 4th minute of play forced Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Hamílton Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7thth minute of the game Fagondo Vasquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hamílton Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fagondo Vasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of BRASIL.Sp booed when Ligeiro F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adelino Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Luís Guilherme Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute of the match BRASIL.Sp got a corner. Ligeiro F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Durval Campidelis ran over to the corner to take the kick. BRASIL.Sp's Luís Guilherme Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save BRASIL.Sp from getting a goal against them. Chico Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Hamílton Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Ernesto Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Fagondo Vasquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hamílton Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hamílton Chaves came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by BRASIL.Sp's Fagondo Vasquez. But to his dismay, Fagondo Vasquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ernesto Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Chaves having to interfere. BRASIL.Sp's Luís Guilherme Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save BRASIL.Sp from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fagondo Vasquez to make the kick off. Adelino Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Hamílton Chaves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 61 minutes into the game, when Caio Koehler put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ligeiro F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Ligeiro F.C:s Hamílton Chaves showed great skill when he stopped Durval Campidelis:s penalty. Almir Matos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hamílton Chaves firmly grabbed it by the left post. 70 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Barreto came free, but Luís Guilherme Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adelino Ramalho fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ligeiro F.C's protests and gave Adelino Ramalho a yellow card for diving instead. Sandro Paulista charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
