Cayetano Osoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xie Ao in the 39th minute of play. ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's Cayetano Osoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Arantes in the 42nd minute of play. With a little luck, Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima got control of the ball when Cauã Viana tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Tiso in the 68th minute of play. Xie Ao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Cayetano Osoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aírton de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Tiso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Válbson de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th match minute, Motta Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Vennerberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Válbson de Alcântara got free with Cayetano Osoitz in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Motta Futebol Clube reached it. Many of Motta Futebol Clube's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Motta Futebol Clube may have spent more time on the ball, but ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
