Ionel Bărcăuan came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by BMB IMOVEIS SC's Hélder Melo. But to his dismay, Hélder Melo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some careless play in the BMB IMOVEIS SC defense, Shoto Doro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio de Azevedo. The BMB IMOVEIS SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes in the game, Mariusz Mochowak fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sérgio de Azevedo having to interfere. If André Luiz Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Holmgren got free with Sérgio de Azevedo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sérgio de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shoto Doro, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save BMB IMOVEIS SC from getting a goal against them.
