União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save União Verde FC from getting a goal against them. If Miquel Argomedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miquel Argomedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Valdir Pérez made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's goalkeeper Valdir Pérez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miquel Argomedo. Valdir Pérez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Gaizkine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miquel Argomedo got free with Valdir Pérez in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Kauan Albuquerque in the 24th minute really tested Valdir Pérez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 28th minute, Epifanio Gaizkine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube dos pro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a little luck, União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez got control of the ball when Iréné Reyna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miquel Argomedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Valdir Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kauan Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. União Verde FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Epifanio Gaizkine scored to the left of an out of position Valdir Pérez, making the score, 2-1. Epifanio Gaizkine scored 3-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdir Pérez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laércio Damião stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valdir Pérez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miquel Argomedo in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in União Verde FC's zone, Epifanio Gaizkine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Pérez came out of the goal and Epifanio Gaizkine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdir Pérez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miquel Argomedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Epifanio Gaizkine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube dos pro's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Gaizkine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdir Pérez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 minutes of play, Clube dos pro's Epifanio Gaizkine made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Pérez was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Gaizkine in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Pérez saved União Verde FC from getting behind. After 77 minutes, Glauco Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube dos pro and the União Verde FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Clube dos pro getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Glauco Cruz hit a great ball. Valdir Pérez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epifanio Gaizkine's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Glauco Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Valdir Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Iréné Reyna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Valdir Pérez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Epifanio Gaizkine might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdir Pérez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Epifanio Gaizkine ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the game, Bebeto de Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. União Verde FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube dos pro the free kick. After 91 played minutes União Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto de Salles. In the 92nd minute Miquel Argomedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Pérez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Albuquerque in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to Clube dos pro getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Iréné Reyna hit a great ball. Clube dos pro walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
