In the 2nd minute, Renan Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered loudly when Gil Paiva's long shot in the 4th minute became 1-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Sérgio de Azevedo. The supporters of União Verde FC booed when BMB IMOVEIS SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sérgio de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Laércio Damião sent off a good shot on target. Agnaldo Tinoco hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in União Verde FC's zone, André Luiz Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Pérez came out of the goal and André Luiz Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cafu de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Paranaense struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Valdir Pérez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BMB IMOVEIS SC. União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Vides in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, BMB IMOVEIS SC's André Luiz Vides nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdir Pérez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 28th minute, Emanuel Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, BMB IMOVEIS SC's André Luiz Vides nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdir Pérez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Valdir Pérez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Vides in the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, André Luiz Vides had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdir Pérez. União Verde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Luiz Vides was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The União Verde FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BMB IMOVEIS SC were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laércio Damião to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias Vidal during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, BMB IMOVEIS SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Vidal to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Renan Madureira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Emanuel Paranaense was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. BMB IMOVEIS SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. André Luiz Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Pérez having to interfere. Emanuel Paranaense took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdir Pérez. Valdir Pérez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. In the 77th minute, Emanuel Paranaense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BMB IMOVEIS SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Gugu de Moraes was substituted for Emanuel Paranaense. André Luiz Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Pérez having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Gugu de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gugu de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez got control of the ball when Gugu de Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gugu de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Valdir Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The BMB IMOVEIS SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BMB IMOVEIS SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
