If Alfredo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricky Blake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Clube dos pro's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Martins came free, but Ricky Blake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Clube dos pro getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Léo de Souza hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes Clube dos pro got a freekick which was hit by Léo de Souza. Dida Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmar Bruch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, Clube dos pro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Naredi to maneuver through the defense. Ricky Blake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gao Xiang Guang in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Marquês de Herval were awarded a corner. Gao Xiang Guang went to the cornerflag to take it. German Cano was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With an all-out effort, Clube dos pro's Dida Taffarel threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elmar Bruch, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dida Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iréné Reyna in the 29th minute. After 29 played minutes Iréné Reyna rounded Marquês de Herval's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Selami Rezan hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Martins in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricky Blake prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Martins struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ricky Blake didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marquês de Herval. In the 41st minute Elmar Bruch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube dos pro's goalkeeper Ricky Blake, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gao Xiang Guang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 74 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Gonzalez. In the 75th match minute, Clube dos pro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauan Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, one of Marquês de Herval:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marquês de Herval. Marquês de Herval:s Dida Taffarel showed great skill when he stopped Aleksander Naredi:s penalty. Aleksander Naredi took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida Taffarel. Dida Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gao Xiang Guang hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Marquês de Herval's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
