Ahmad Reza Asadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmar Bruch, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmar Bruch in the 10th minute of play forced Santos Campineiro's goalkeeper Ahmad Reza Asadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricky Blake came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Santos Campineiro's Sidnei Baptista. But to his dismay, Sidnei Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sidnei Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ahmad Reza Asadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iréné Reyna in the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Santos Campineiro's Jonathan Orlandus got a free kick in the 47th minute. Santos Campineiro's Anibal Enekoitz was substituted for Sidnei Baptista. After 48 played minutes Santos Campineiro got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Orlandus. Elmar Bruch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 53rd minute, Sidney Albuquerque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Santos Campineiro's Anibal Enekoitz fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ahmad Reza Asadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmar Bruch in the 68th minute of play. Adilson Camargo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adilson Camargo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 74 minutes into the match, Clube dos pro's Iréné Reyna broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 79th minute, Santos Campineiro's Sidney Albuquerque ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricky Blake. Ricky Blake yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Adilson Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Anibal Enekoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricky Blake. Clube dos pro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anibal Enekoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The supporters of Clube dos pro booed when Santos Campineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Raebert didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmar Bruch in the 94th minute of play forced Santos Campineiro's goalkeeper Ahmad Reza Asadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Ricky Blake successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
