An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Orlandus in the 6th minute of play forced Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Jerônimo da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Santos Campineiro defense, Atacan Rahim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmad Reza Asadi. The Santos Campineiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmad Reza Asadi should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santos Campineiro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nikos Kladogennis was slow to take the kick. During this time Elite™- FC Galácticos's players had a chance to rest. In the 14th minute Elite™- FC Galácticos were awarded a corner. Nikos Kladogennis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Elite™- FC Galácticos's Nikos Kladogennis to fire away a dangerous shot which Ahmad Reza Asadi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Baptista in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Elite™- FC Galácticos got a corner. Santos Campineiro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nikos Kladogennis ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Nikos Kladogennis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ahmad Reza Asadi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jerônimo da Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidnei Baptista's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Ahmad Reza Asadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atacan Rahim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Elite™- FC Galácticos's Atacan Rahim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmad Reza Asadi. That made the score 3-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 31st minute, Sidnei Baptista made a precise shot to the right of Jerônimo da Cunha. Elite™- FC Galácticos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After 33 minutes of play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Atacan Rahim made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmad Reza Asadi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Sidnei Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Santos Campineiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidnei Baptista couldn't finish the play. Santos Campineiro's Ahmad Reza Asadi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Santos Campineiro from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Antony Sharkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos Campineiro's goalkeeper Ahmad Reza Asadi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmad Reza Asadi came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Elite™- FC Galácticos's Atacan Rahim. But to his dismay, Atacan Rahim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

Santos Campineiro's Anibal Enekoitz was substituted for Sidnei Baptista. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sidney Albuquerque to make the kick off. When Fri Spel fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elite™- FC Galácticos's protests and gave Fri Spel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Elite™- FC Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fri Spel to maneuver through the defense. Allan Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Santos Campineiro getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Allan Dias hit a great ball. Ahmad Reza Asadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atacan Rahim, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Jerônimo da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Nikos Kladogennis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santos Campineiro's Ahmad Reza Asadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Kosmatka in the 73rd minute of play.
