André Luís Zanette received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valdir Pérez came out and tried to block the shot, but André Luís Zanette slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind União Verde FC's goalkeeper Valdir Pérez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Gil Paiva with Jorge Mendonça as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. André Luís Zanette might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdir Pérez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Valdir Pérez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. André Luís Zanette blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdir Pérez having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Luís Zanette in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdir Pérez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 minutes of play, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Pérez was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luís Zanette in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Pérez saved União Verde FC from getting behind.
