With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romário Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Léo de Souza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romário Dantas. Laranja EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Romário Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmar Bruch in the 42nd minute of play. But to his dismay, Elmar Bruch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The Clube dos pro fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Clube dos pro's Elmar Bruch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iréné Reyna got free with Romário Dantas in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clube dos pro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
