Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) La Scaloneta's Gilberto Izel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gilberto Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Rozarius got free with Saul Suarez in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Quitilipi's Hermengildo Ibon got a free kick in the 17th minute. The supporters of Quitilipi booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Junior didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Izel came free, but Saul Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Gilberto Izel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saul Suarez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Bazkoare during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gilberto Izel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Suarez having to interfere. Franco Moscatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Lartaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Enrique Rozarius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saul Suarez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Izel went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute, Nikita Kovtun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Bazkoare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franco Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Lartaun in the 51st minute of play. In the 54thth minute of the game Gilberto Izel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quitilipi's Saul Suarez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. La Scaloneta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enrique Rozarius in the 55th minute. The corner led La Scaloneta's Enrique Rozarius to fire away a dangerous shot which Saul Suarez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Franco Moscatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Izel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saul Suarez was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Rozarius in the 64th minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Saul Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gilberto Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Saul Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Izel in the 66th minute of play. Enrique Rozarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Arí Lucas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli didn't even have to move. Enrique Rozarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Saul Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saul Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polat Aranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Izel came free, but Saul Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Gilberto Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Izel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Izel in the 87th minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Saul Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf Siöman kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Scaloneta fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quitilipi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
