With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven de Zwaan in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anier Balendin saved BAC Belgrano de Cba from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Petruț Fințescu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anier Balendin. After 10 played minutes Argentinos Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Denis Mero. With an all-out effort, BAC Belgrano de Cba's Rigoberto Nazario threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Omar Bidun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Omar Bidun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rigoberto Nazario was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Fințescu came free, but Anier Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Omar Bidun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven de Zwaan in the 21st minute of play forced BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Anier Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Ladislao Inko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 played minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Jaroszewicz. Anier Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven de Zwaan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven de Zwaan in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Balendin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute Sven de Zwaan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Balendin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Balendin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven de Zwaan went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 32 played minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Santos. Anier Balendin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Falch, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After some careless play in the BAC Belgrano de Cba defense, Sven de Zwaan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Balendin. The BAC Belgrano de Cba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Balendin should have stopped the shot. After the first half Argentinos Juniors were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Anier Balendin stood somewhat misplaced when Petruț Fințescu came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 50 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petruț Fințescu in the 55th minute of play forced BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Anier Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Omar Bidun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Venancio Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAC Belgrano de Cba's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Nazario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anier Balendin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven de Zwaan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Anier Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven de Zwaan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Petruț Fințescu notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of BAC Belgrano de Cba's Anier Balendin. Anier Balendin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 76 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Anier Balendin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petruț Fințescu. If Placido Neron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Anier Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven de Zwaan in the 80th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Sven de Zwaan took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Anier Balendin to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Sven de Zwaan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anier Balendin. That made the score 0-10 in the 90 minute of play. Eleuterio Milian's late challenge caught a BAC Belgrano de Cba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleuterio Milian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Eleuterio Milian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The BAC Belgrano de Cba supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Argentinos Juniors's performance. The match ended with a win for Argentinos Juniors.
