The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Defensores de Belén fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Defensores de Belén's Tao Ke Qiang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tao Ke Qiang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Montez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Roman Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tao Ke Qiang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Montez came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Belén's Tao Ke Qiang. But to his dismay, Tao Ke Qiang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tao Ke Qiang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Montez having to interfere. If Cornelio Abastas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Wyciszkiewicz in the 21st minute of the match. Roman Montez came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Belén's Zbigniew Wyciszkiewicz. But to his dismay, Zbigniew Wyciszkiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Defensores de Belén getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Tao Ke Qiang hit a great ball. Tao Ke Qiang might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Montez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tao Ke Qiang ran back to his position shaking his head. Roman Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Wyciszkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tao Ke Qiang came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Defensores de Belén fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tao Ke Qiang couldn't finish the play. Tochi Mur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Roman Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Montez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomiro Anaya went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Defensores de Belén's Tao Ke Qiang managed to work through Villa Mitre's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tao Ke Qiang dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A hard shot 51 in the game by Tao Ke Qiang from a close distance when the talented Roman Montez managed to make a qualified save. Villa Mitre's players were relieved. Roman Montez made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Tao Ke Qiang sent off a good shot on target. Roman Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tao Ke Qiang in the 57th minute of the match. Baldomiro Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, Tochi Mur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roman Montez. Tochi Mur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Tochi Mur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Tao Ke Qiang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Mitre's Roman Montez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baldomiro Anaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Roman Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Jenaro hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Roman Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tao Ke Qiang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Montez came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Belén's Tao Ke Qiang. But to his dismay, Tao Ke Qiang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Tao Ke Qiang put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Roman Montez. 88 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Tao Ke Qiang came free, but Roman Montez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Montez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tao Ke Qiang in the 89th minute. Tochi Mur struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Roman Montez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Belén.
