Rigoberto Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Sven de Zwaan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Perfecto Mongis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petruț Fințescu got free with Perfecto Mongis in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eleuterio Milian came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Perfecto Mongis could save by the left post. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celedonio Madeo was slow to take the kick. During this time Argentinos Juniors's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Celedonio Madeo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ's Perfecto Mongis did a great save. 2-7 became the score in the 86th minute when Sven de Zwaan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Petruț Fințescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Perfecto Mongis came out and tried to block the shot, but Petruț Fințescu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-8 in the 89th minute. If Eleuterio Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Argentinos Juniors booed when Ψ Futbol Rojo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Martins in the 96th minute of the match.
