Tao Ke Qiang might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rigoberto Nazario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tao Ke Qiang ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Milian got free with Dante Erramu in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zbigniew Wyciszkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rigoberto Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tao Ke Qiang, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tao Ke Qiang in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Nazario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Tao Ke Qiang put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rigoberto Nazario. Dante Erramu made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Sven de Zwaan sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Tao Ke Qiang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Defensores de Belén's goalkeeper Dante Erramu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven de Zwaan. After the first half Defensores de Belén were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
