Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Petruț Fințescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 9thth minute of the game Petruț Fințescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quitilipi's Saul Suarez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rigoberto Nazario came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Quitilipi's Marcelo Laurentzi. But to his dismay, Marcelo Laurentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rigoberto Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Bazkoare in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Quitilipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Angelsø to maneuver through the defense. Saul Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Falch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Argentinos Juniors's Mats Falch got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 29 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Milian came free, but Saul Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Marcelo Laurentzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Nazario was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sven de Zwaan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Saul Suarez firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Argentinos Juniors's zone, Iurie Malcoci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Nazario came out of the goal and Iurie Malcoci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Argentinos Juniors's Eleuterio Milian got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cayetano Bazkoare was the one to do the kick off. Saul Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Mero in the 53rd minute of the match. When Petruț Fințescu came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Argentinos Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petruț Fințescu couldn't finish the play. Chicão Angelsø was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. The referee gave Argentinos Juniors a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sven de Zwaan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quitilipi's Saul Suarez. 3-2. Rigoberto Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iurie Malcoci in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Argentinos Juniors's Robert Wilson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saul Suarez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 77 minutes into the match, Robert Wilson notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Quitilipi's Saul Suarez. Saul Suarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Celedonio Madeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Sven de Zwaan came free, but Saul Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Bazkoare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Nazario made a huge save. When Argentinos Juniors's Sven de Zwaan in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quitilipi's goalie prevented a goal. Cayetano Bazkoare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rigoberto Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Argentinos Juniors made a substitution. Eustacio Raebert replaced Sven de Zwaan. In the 92nd minute, Eustacio Raebert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Inocencio Lartaun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Argentinos Juniors had won after a very even match.
