Gilberto Izel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Montez having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, La Scaloneta's Gilberto Izel made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Montez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Polat Aranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Roman Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Izel might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Montez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Izel got free with Roman Montez in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilberto Izel scored 5-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Montez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The wind increased when Ramiro Jerano made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Mitre's zone, Gilberto Izel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Montez came out of the goal and Gilberto Izel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute of the game, Gilberto Izel landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Hipolito Corderro fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Mitre's protests and gave Hipolito Corderro a yellow card for diving instead. La Scaloneta's Xu Quan Song was substituted for Gilberto Izel. In the 93rd minute, one of Villa Mitre:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Villa Mitre. Vinícius Junior walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Xu Quan Song scored 8-0 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Montez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the La Scaloneta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
