After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre's Epifanio Kelemen got a free kick in the 68th minute. Club A. Chipa y Tereré made a substitution. Carmelo Velasco replaced Wilfredo Cordairo. Mauro Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Montez having to interfere. Club A. Villa Mitre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaroslav Nechvátal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Igon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club A. Chipa y Tereré fully deserved thier win.
