After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Gilberto Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Scaloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Izel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Bernad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Moises Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Izel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Bernad having to make a save. FMArgentina's Ismael Bernad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Izel in the 23rd minute of play. La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save La Scaloneta from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Rozarius in the 42nd minute of play forced FMArgentina's goalkeeper Ismael Bernad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when FMArgentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Teodor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Izel made a kick off. Ismael Bernad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Scaloneta.
