Argentinos Juniors's Rigoberto Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Hanni in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Argentinos Juniors's Mats Falch got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Federico Hanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomero Lucila during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Baldomero Lucila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Manantiales Fc's goalkeeper Zbigniew Barowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petruț Fințescu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petruț Fințescu in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zbigniew Barowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Mero got free with Zbigniew Barowicz in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Isidro Cresencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Petruț Fințescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Barowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Hanni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Hanni kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petruț Fințescu to make the kick off. Zbigniew Barowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven de Zwaan in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes Manantiales Fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leon Richie who took care of the corner kick. Rigoberto Nazario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Hanni in the 58th minute. Zbigniew Barowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven de Zwaan in the 62nd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Manantiales Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Fințescu came free, but Zbigniew Barowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbigniew Barowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven de Zwaan in the 71st minute of the match. Denis Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbigniew Barowicz having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Eleuterio Milian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zbigniew Barowicz was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Milian notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Manantiales Fc's Zbigniew Barowicz. Zbigniew Barowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Ronaldo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rigoberto Nazario. Ronaldo Ronaldo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.
