With his leg Shao Shu Lang managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Las Palmas's Cayetano Esdras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 武光星 in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg René Stam saved Las Palmas from getting behind. The corner ended in Osvaldo Mendebal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Las Palmas's René Stam did a great save. After having played for 33 minutes, 武光星 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Encarale a la gordita's supporters crossed their fingers, but 武光星 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute Cayetano Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shao Shu Lang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. René Stam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 武光星, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. René Stam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 武光星, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Encarale a la gordita's Osvaldo Mendebal got a free kick in the 44th minute. Shao Shu Lang was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Cayetano Esdras capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cayetano Esdras really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0.

Encarale a la gordita made a substitution. Jurand Sienkowski replaced 武光星. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jurand Sienkowski to strike the kick off in the second half. René Stam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Sienkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Encarale a la gordita booed when Las Palmas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peker Kazak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jurand Sienkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Las Palmas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
