Lazaros Kabantais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Bazkoare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's goalkeeper Lazaros Kabantais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Cordairo. 27 minutes into the game, Tincho Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Benedicto Elixio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tincho Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Elixio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tincho Palermo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedicto Elixio was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Benedicto Elixio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Filomeno Mendebal in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benedicto Elixio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Materos FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
