In the 15th minute, Valtteri Snellman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Evarado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Lluterio got free with Samuel Evarado in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hermosillo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valtteri Snellman was slow to take the kick. During this time La Candela FC's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Lluterio got free with Samuel Evarado in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Silverio Lluterio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Jonatan Fraco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Jing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silverio Lluterio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Samuel Evarado made a huge save.
