In the 9th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Honesto to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Pena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Carlos Germano made a huge save. After 35 minutes of play, Sacronas Futbol Club's Gabriel Amato made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Germano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Pena. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Artaldo during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Artaldo. With a little luck, Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano got control of the ball when Adrian Pereyra tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Pereyra to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Oscar Ortiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Germano was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Anacleto Admon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jorge Iribarren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Germano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sacronas Futbol Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
