The CF Scalonetos fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when CF Scalonetos's Cleto Frechoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, CF Scalonetos's Ahmed Long got control of the ball when Anselmo Asur tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Lucio Abajas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Marino to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Cerilo to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Epifanio Orkatz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ahmed Long, passed just outside the right post. Erubiel Cerilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Bitxintxo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Frechoso in the 24th minute of play forced Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Venancio Bitxintxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Frechoso to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 28 minutes, Anselmo Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrilete Cósmico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Asur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Alejandro Artizar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CF Scalonetos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. CF Scalonetos's Ahmed Long proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save CF Scalonetos from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Frechoso in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Bitxintxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Barrilete Cósmico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CF Scalonetos were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleto Frechoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Cerilo to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Artizar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evelio Urtats kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Narciso Hever fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrilete Cósmico's protests and gave Narciso Hever a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Barrilete Cósmico getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Narciso Hever hit a great ball. Mateo Isauro hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Barrilete Cósmico's Venancio Bitxintxo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Barrilete Cósmico from getting a goal against them. Venancio Bitxintxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Frechoso in the 74th minute of play. When CF Scalonetos's Cleto Frechoso in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barrilete Cósmico's goalie prevented a goal. 78 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Orkatz came free, but Ahmed Long reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmed Long took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Orkatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Bitxintxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Artizar in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cleto Frechoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF Scalonetos's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleto Frechoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Bitxintxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
