Jose Urko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remigio Librado's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Melquiades Salvatore kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Goyo came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Los Tiburones Sorobarri C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Gaizkine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Urko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artemio Jaunti went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the game, Bernardo Stephen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Jaizki was the one to do the kick off. Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's Jose Urko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 54th minute of play. Carlos Germano came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's Rosendo Goyo. But to his dismay, Rosendo Goyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 62 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Jaizki lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Jose Urko. After 70 minutes, Eustaquio Jaizki made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's Jose Urko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eustaquio Jaizki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Jose Urko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jose Urko was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Eustaquio Jaizki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eustaquio Jaizki really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Jose Urko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 81st minute. Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's Jose Urko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Los Tiburones Sorobarri C from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Stephen kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Jaizki got free with Jose Urko in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Eustaquio Jaizki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jose Urko. The goal made the score 1-7. Club Atlético Atlanta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
