Toninho Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Enoch went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute Enrique Enoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Darío Friederichs could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Toninho Teles however easily saved by the left post. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Darío Friederichs got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A hard shot 21 in the game by Darío Friederichs from a close distance when the talented Toninho Teles managed to make a qualified save. GALATASARAY SK's players were relieved. Toninho Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Enoch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GALATASARAY SK's Toninho Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn Fyfe in the 27th minute of play. Darío Friederichs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Toninho Teles made a huge save. In the 30th minute Ramón de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Quiroga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toninho Teles made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Darío Friederichs sent off a good shot on target. GALATASARAY SK's Toninho Teles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY SK from getting a goal against them. After 36 minutes of play, Chile's Darío Friederichs made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toninho Teles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Darío Friederichs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Toninho Teles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Enrique Enoch scored 5-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toninho Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arın Turhan made a kick off. The supporters of Chile booed when GALATASARAY SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alkan Hacıfettahoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the GALATASARAY SK defense, Enrique Enoch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toninho Teles. The GALATASARAY SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toninho Teles should have stopped the shot. Toninho Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glenn Fyfe, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Enrique Enoch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GALATASARAY SK's Toninho Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darío Friederichs in the 66th minute of play. Darío Friederichs scored 8-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toninho Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darío Friederichs in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toninho Teles saved GALATASARAY SK from getting behind. Toninho Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Enoch, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Chile's Enrique Enoch made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toninho Teles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eren Jaeger hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY SK's Klement Osikowicz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some careless play in the GALATASARAY SK defense, Darío Friederichs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toninho Teles. The GALATASARAY SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toninho Teles should have stopped the shot. Ignacio Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arın Turhan in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Darío Friederichs made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. GALATASARAY SK's Toninho Teles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Ramón de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Enrique Enoch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Enoch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toninho Teles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Enrique Enoch came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Enoch couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chile fully deserved thier win.
