João Vítor Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Damm in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by 卡納里尼奧 FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sven-Olof Odin was slow to take the kick. During this time Wolverhampton's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Sven-Olof Odin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 卡納里尼奧 FC's João Vítor Guimarães did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidnei Dionísio got free with Malcolm Knutsson in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Damasceno in the 18th minute of play forced Wolverhampton's goalkeeper Malcolm Knutsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseu Alagoano really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After 38 minutes of play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Malcolm Knutsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the game, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Elias Damasceno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Malcolm Knutsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Malcolm Knutsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Damasceno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 52nd minute, Elias Damasceno made a precise shot to the right of Malcolm Knutsson. Wolverhampton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. A collision led to Wolverhampton getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Sakarias Ahlroth hit a great ball. Agostinho Guedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malcolm Knutsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agostinho Guedes ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrik Valler hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Wolverhampton's Malcolm Knutsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Vidal in the 59th minute of play. Wolverhampton's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven-Olof Odin in the 62nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Sven-Olof Odin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Vítor Guimarães quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to 卡納里尼奧 FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Amílton Marinho hit a great ball. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Armandinho Pombal was substituted for Régis Vides. After 67 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Marinho. John Damm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. João Vítor Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Eliseu Alagoano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 卡納里尼奧 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 78 played minutes Wolverhampton got a freekick which was hit by Jan Bengtsson. Malcolm Knutsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Damasceno, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Elias Damasceno scored 8-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Malcolm Knutsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cléberson Santana in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Malcolm Knutsson saved Wolverhampton from getting behind. Malcolm Knutsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseu Alagoano went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Cléberson Santana hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that 卡納里尼奧 FC were the better team. 卡納里尼奧 FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
