Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Falcão Marques in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doni Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doni Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Bezerra charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Bezerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. Charles Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. After 53 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Sarmento was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Falcão Marques fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's protests and gave Falcão Marques a yellow card for diving instead.
