In the 6th match minute, Wolverhampton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Granström to maneuver through the defense. Malcolm Knutsson came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Consejo del Mate's Elpidio Tipi. But to his dismay, Elpidio Tipi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Malcolm Knutsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Tipi went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute, Elpidio Tipi made a precise shot to the right of Malcolm Knutsson. Wolverhampton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Albert Lundblad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Inautzi having to make a save. 21 minutes into the game, Albert Lundblad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolverhampton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Consejo del Mate the free kick. Albert Lundblad kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Jan Bengtsson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Consejo del Mate's Gonzalo Perico in action when he in the 24th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Sven-Olof Odin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Inautzi having to make a save. In the 29th minute, Federico Azubeli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Malcolm Knutsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. John Damm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bernardo Inautzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Tipi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Malcolm Knutsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Damm made a kick off. If John Damm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Damm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Inautzi having to make a save. Wolverhampton's John Damm got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malcolm Knutsson was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Elpidio Tipi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elpidio Tipi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Azubeli in the 67th minute of play forced Wolverhampton's goalkeeper Malcolm Knutsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Wolverhampton booed when Consejo del Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Unai didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, John Damm put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardo Inautzi. Malcolm Knutsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Azubeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wolverhampton's Malcolm Knutsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Tipi in the 81st minute of play. Malcolm Knutsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Tipi in the 83rd minute of the match. Miguel Frechoso hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Elpidio Tipi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Malcolm Knutsson was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Consejo del Mate's Bernardo Inautzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Damm in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Azubeli in the 91st minute of play forced Wolverhampton's goalkeeper Malcolm Knutsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Inautzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Damm, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Consejo del Mate's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
