Daniël Isla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Urdaspal, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Jaime Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniël Isla having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Fabian Urdaspal got a free kick in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Lucas got free with Armando Basajaun in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Armando Basajaun got control of the ball when George Lucas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Lucas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute George Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniël Isla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Du Hong Hui in the 54th minute of play. If George Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oso Ted struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Daniël Isla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cartero de Agronomia F.C.. The crowd rose to their feet as Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Teofilo Maidana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniël Isla. That made the score 0-1 after 72 minutes of play.
