Zé Paulo da Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Kristóf Balázs made a huge save. Kristóf Balázs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilio Melzer's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Black is Back's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gugu Goiano in the 9th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gugu Goiano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rune Jarstein quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sebastian Hedlund hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Moritz Hasenjäger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristóf Balázs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Black is Back got a freekick which was hit by Georg Moberg. 20 minutes into the match, Black is Back's goalkeeper Kristóf Balázs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Strömberg in the 26th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristóf Balázs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Zé Paulo da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristóf Balázs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Melzer in the 30th minute of play forced Black is Back's goalkeeper Kristóf Balázs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Black is Back's Kristóf Balázs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Elenescu in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Otto Kaxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Black is Back's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Oswald came free, but Kristóf Balázs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Kristóf Balázs throw himself and got hold of the ball when Kristian Oswald in the 39thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Oswald in the 41st minute of play forced Black is Back's goalkeeper Kristóf Balázs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristóf Balázs was a little too slow when Wilhelm Nienhaus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-0.

Zé Paulo da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Kristóf Balázs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carl Gummeson fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black is Back's protests and gave Carl Gummeson a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gigel Elenescu in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristóf Balázs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Hertha 1969 fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Hertha 1969's Gigel Elenescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kristóf Balázs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Oswald in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Kristian Oswald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristóf Balázs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Otto Kaxe could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Rune Jarstein however easily saved by the left post. Kristóf Balázs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 60th minute of play. Hertha 1969 made a substitution. Benedikt Bensch replaced Emilio Melzer. Kristóf Balázs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Gigel Elenescu took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristóf Balázs. Kristóf Balázs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Black is Back getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Sebastian Hedlund hit a great ball. Carl Eckegren charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Eckegren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carl Eckegren kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Kristóf Balázs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristóf Balázs came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus. But to his dismay, Wilhelm Nienhaus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 84 minutes, Wilhelm Nienhaus made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Black is Back's Kristóf Balázs tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 88th minute of play forced Black is Back's goalkeeper Kristóf Balázs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Black is Back's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Kristóf Balázs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristóf Balázs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Hovermann in the 90th minute of play. Wilhelm Nienhaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristóf Balázs having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hertha 1969 had played much better football throughout.
